🔔 Folder notifications: new files come to you
On a busy project, files land every day, and the only way to know was to go and look. Many teams built manual routines around this: someone checks the folders, someone sends the list, or at best, remember to notify certain group. Much of that work goes away now:
Subscribe to any folder and possibly its subfolder in Files page and get a daily digest at evening, in Infrakit and by email. You pick the folders that matter to your role, Infrakit does the checking.
This has been one of the most asked-for improvements across all our markets, and we are happy to ship it.
🚛 Mass Haul: first version of mass balance optimization
"Where can this material go?" Majority of foremen solves that puzzle daily, usually from memory and spreadsheets.
The Mass Haul page now has the first version of mass balance optimization and ad hoc planning of mass coordination. Click a mass haul area on the map, pick the material in it, and see which areas can receive that material, along with each one's current mass balance.
Coordinating masses turns from guesswork into something you can see on the map.
🔖 Saved views as living creatures
Saved views started as a way to store your own map state. This release turns them into a tool for using one saved view as a living thing:
Edit views that were not created by you. Saved views can be edited by people other than their creator, with permissions so admins and owners can adjust any shared view. Now also the locking of edits will become even more important.

The Files page got the modern file tree. The same layout that came to the map page in 3.9.9, so navigation works the same way in both.
WMS map layers in folders. Externally connected WMS maps can be organised into folders inside the map tile layers, instead of one flat list.
A faster right-click menu on the map. The context menu opens much quicker, and the look is more modern and intuitive.
Zip uploads ask first. When uploading a zip file, you choose up front whether to extract it or keep it zipped.
Resizable columns on the Files page. Drag column widths so long file names and metadata are no longer cut off.
Document shortcuts on the map too. Shortcut links created on the Files page appear in the same folder on the Map page.
Default layer for cross sections. Set a default current layer in project settings and everyone in the project gets it automatically.
Corrected stick heights for as-builts. The original stick height recorded by the SURVEY app is visible on the As-built page, and a corrected value can be entered with Z and dZ recalculated automatically.
Email when an approval is removed. Removing a document's approval now sends a notification, the same way approving one does.
Reuse machine control assignments. An existing assignment can be attached directly to a machine that has none yet, instead of recreating it and re-selecting all its files.
Permissions from the start. When you create a new folder, Infrakit prompts you to set its group permissions right away.
🔒 Closed Beta: Workflows & Task Management
With 3.9.10, Workflows and the rest of your project data come together closely enough that closed beta customers can run real task management in Infrakit: create a task by clicking a location on the map, assign saved views to users, and take the work through an ISO 19650 task lifecycle. Admins and super users can now delete workflows and ISO tasks themselves. ISO tasks get an "In progress" first step where documents stay editable and are visible only to the assigned users until the step moves to review. And project templates carry their workflows into new projects.
