Infrakit allows users to participate in multiple projects within the same organization or across different organizations. This flexibility supports collaboration and efficient project management, especially for users with responsibilities across several sites or roles.
Key Principles
Users can have access to multiple projects at once
A single user account can be invited to, and have access to, any number of Infrakit projects simultaneously. Access is determined by project administrators who add users to projects as needed.
Project access is managed per project
Your access rights and role (such as Viewer, Editor, or Admin) are set individually for each project. You may have different permissions in different projects, depending on what the project administrator assigns.
Switching between projects in the UI
You can select which project you are working on using the project drop-down menu at the top of the Infrakit web interface. This menu lists all projects you have access to. You can switch between projects at any time without logging out.
Examples
A consultant is invited to three separate infrastructure projects in the same region. They use the project selector to move between projects to upload files, review data, and participate in discussions, all with one account.
Recommendations
Ask your project administrator to invite you to all projects you need access to.
Check your role and permissions in each project to understand your capabilities.
Use the project selector to switch between projects as needed for your work.
