Grade benching

Quality assurance is important process for model-based working methods. Follow this manual to activate accuracy tracing and grade benching for all field equipment

Updated 4 days ago

  1. First, prepare data set for bench points. Bench points are located physically on site, for example, heavy markup or bolt placed on rock close to area machinery are frequently moved, like refuel locations. Bench point data is a precise coordinate (preferably millimeter accuracy)  from such location. Use same code attribute for all bench points. Choose code that does not collide with project data. "9999" is commonly used for this purpose.

  2. Upload prepared bench points to Infrakit in any of the supported formats, for example in landXML format.

  3. Choose bench data file in Project settings

  4. Place implement of the connected equipment to bench point and record as-built data with set bench point code.

  5. Infrakit will automatically analyze the accuracy of each equipment in Infrakit and indicate any problems arising connected to piece of machinery.
